Bit of a delay in sharing this but we hope you like our news on a brilliant day…
On 4th November 2023 we held our annual joint tenant conference with East Ayrshire Council at St Joseph’s Campus, Kilmarnock.
Guest Speaker, Lisa Punton, Housing Services Manager from the Council gave an excellent, although quite heartbreaking presentation on the current homelessness crisis in Scotland and its impact in East Ayrshire.
There were information workshops on:
- Damp and Mould,
- Greener Communities,
- Cost of Living Crisis: Support Available and
- Climate Change: Challenge for Housing provided excellent insight and discussions on some of the key issues facing our communities.
We also had our information marketplace where over 16 organisations provided goodies, loads of valuable knowledge and most importantly a smile…
