We have some fantastic local groups who are raising Community spirit across East Ayrshire and the Federation had the pleasure of attending a couple of events over the past weeks.
Keir Hardie Hill and Bankglen TARA – Summer Fun Event – the group were successful in securing some funding in order to facilitate all their community events, designed to bring together tenants and residents in their area to enjoy some fun and informative days, kicking off with their summer fun programme, a 4 weekly afternoon event culminating with a trip that includes children and parents. Well done all!
Gilfoot TARAAG – G in the Park – the award winning tenant and resident association again facilitated an absolutely fantastic day, which included, inflatables, stalls, music, fairground rides, food, drink and a parachute display. Basking in the July sun, the crowds attending are a testament to the sheer hard work and drive by the group to make where they live that so much brighter! We salute you and well done!
