TIS National Housing Conference and Excellence Awards 2024:
Members of the Federation, local tenants and residents’ groups, council officers and Councillor Jim McMahon, Housing and Communities spokesperson attended the TIS National Conference and Excellence Awards in Glasgow in November 2024, where we not only learned a lot from the speakers, workshops, but celebrated in big style too. our local group, Gilfoot, and the Councils Customer Liaison Officer Kevin Hamilton were nominated. We were absolutely delighted to celebrate and congratulate with the Gilfoot TARAAG who were crowned ‘Tenant Group of the Year 2024’
It was the end of a truly memorable day for the group who were also asked to deliver a workshop detailing their journey which was attended by a full delegate audience. The girls were fantastic and built some great new friends and contacts. Well Done all from EAF!!
